WOW is a women's ministry at Kings Park Community Church.
Our aim at KPCC WOW is to deepen our relationships as sisters in Christ and grow in the calling God has placed on our lives.
We share testimonies and personal experiences so that we can flourish into the women God has called each one of us to be.
During our gatherings we have different themes which focus different topics.
We have coffee/tea and some yummy treats which we enjoy while getting to know one another and enjoying fellowship.
Our heart is to reach the broken-hearted and the wider community through acts of love, compassion, support and most importantly demonstrating God’s incredible gifts of love, mercy, grace and salvation.
Isaiah 61: 1-3
The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me,
because the LORD has anointed me
to proclaim good news to the poor.
He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
to proclaim freedom for the captives
and release from darkness for the prisoners, [ a ]
2 to proclaim the year of the LORD’s favor
and the day of vengeance of our God,
to comfort all who mourn,
3 and provide for those who grieve in Zion—
to bestow on them a crown of beauty
instead of ashes,
the oil of joy
instead of mourning,
and a garment of praise
instead of a spirit of despair.
They will be called oaks of righteousness,
a planting of the LORD
for the display of his splendor.
These verses encapsulate our vision for WOW; to show compassion and love and to start a chain reaction.
WOW fellowship runs 2-4pm on Saturdays, bi monthly and is held mostly at KPCC hall.
